Abstract
Using Mobile phone learning activities to motivate English language learning of the third year English Major students at Suan Dusit University was studied. It was found that these students were highly motivated towards Mobile phone assisted language learning; learning the L2 on social media (FB) highly correlated with their classroom achievements in English courses. However, their high motivation was helpful in their English courses and for promoting language learning in and outside the classroom. It could be said that the students in this study were slightly instrumentally motivated toward the use of mobile phone as a supplementary tools in the English language classroom L2 motivation on mobile assisted language learning affected on teaching and learning.
