Item Paradigm Shift of Native Koreans Towards Overseas Koreans(2024-02-27) Suttasinee Kespratoom; Teeradet Chuenpraphanusorn; Kamonkanok Kamonkanok; Thanasorn Wisutwarin; Pornpit NgampongThe article discusses the concept of gyopo, which refers to individuals of Korean heritage born or raised outside of South Korea. These gyopos often grapple with questions of cultural identity, language proficiency, and belonging. The perspective of native Koreas towards overseas Koreans varies, with many South Koreans showing curiosity, appreciation for their contributions to diversity, and recognition of their language skills and international experiences. Job opportunities for overseas Koreans in South Korea are abundant, facilitated by visas, language proficiency, and a global perspective that can be applied in various industries. Korean universities are also actively engaging with overseas Koreans, recognizing their value in creating diverse and dynamic learning environments. The South Korean government supports initiatives aimed at attracting overseas talent and helping them settle in the country. Overall, the article aims to explore the origin of gyopo, the perspectives of native Koreans towards overseas Koreans, adaptation of overseas Koreans, and the job opportunities available to overseas Koreans in South Korea.Item Perspective of Women between Two Cultures in France in the 18 Century and China in the 20 Century from the QueenÕs Confession by Vitoria Holt and the Good Earth by Pearl S. Chuenpraphanusorn; Graduate School, Suan Dusit University, Bangkok, 10300, Thailand; email: teera_det@hotmail.co.thThe objective of this research was to study the perspective of women from the QueenÕs Confession by Vitoria Holt and the Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck. The analytical method from two novels, the history, patriarchy concept and feminism concepts were implemented in this investigation. Analysis was conducted using four conceptual frame works: the women's role, womenÕs values, social disparity or inequality and other social factors. The results found that; 1) the concept of the womenÕs role, especially, the political bargaining can be seen in The QueensÕs Confession, but in The Good Earth, the women were an exploitation tool for their family. In regard to being a follower; the two novels had similar ideas in the Òarranged marriageÓ. Moreover, in the genealogy aspect, the women of the two novels had the same status in order to produce heirs for the maleÕs family and taking care of the family. 2) with the womenÕs values aspect, it was obviously found in the QueenÕs Confession, especially the main characters were bullied regarding ethnic issues. But in the Chinese society under the concept of Òthe body under an orchestrationÓ, can be initiated from the women, who were suffering in a value of beauty such as foot binding. 3) In the concept of the social disparity; the women tyrannical by the social class and gender, can be found with the high and low social status of the woman. Also, in the concept of the women under the social pressure; the two novels had the same believes in the patriarchal concept. It is no great surprise that the man was also a big person of the family from the past until now. Lastly, 4) In the aspect of other elements of society that effect women; mainly in the moral and customary issues, it used to be a strong social frame to control the women of the two novels such as not being able to make decisions by herself, but only permitted women to function in the family role. © 2022, Research and Development Institute Suan Dusit University. (2) to analyze the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy and Ecological Awareness from two stories and (3) to study the attitude of the reader after reading. The primary sources such as the document, novel, theories and inÐdepth interview-form are employed as the instrument of this research. The results reveal that both novels can answer the three research objectives as (1) Point of view, theme, plot, characterization, dramatic conflict and setting are also persuaded in both novels and portray the relationship between humans, nature and believe in the cultural society by the following details. (1.1) The point of view of the Good Earth is the first person and third person, but In A Child of the Northeast, the objective or dramatic point of view is the main point. (1.2) Two novels have similar themes in earth, homeland and environment. (1.3) The open plot appears in the two novels. (1.4) The characterizations are round or dynamic and flat or statistic. (1.5) The dramatic conflict appears in the Good Earth as; the physical, the elemental, the social and the psychological conflict, but is found as the natural conflict in A Child of the Northeast. (1.6) The two novels have the same setting; the culture, the geography or natural and the outdoors. (2) The ecological insight is characterized by a quality of wholeness and the authorÕs ecological awareness and holism suggests a sense of unity such as a farmer in the Asian Region, which depends on the weather, natural resources with hope in their land. Moreover, both novels are concerned with the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy, especially the teaching of the concept Òmiddle pathway of lifeÓ. This philosophy transfer from the actions and visions of the main characters as Wang-Lung and KoonÕs father from the beginning until the end of the story. (3) After reading, the students admired the valuable concept of ecological awareness and the philosophy of sufficiency economy and it can be assumed that both novels are good examples for the new generation, particularly in the modern era. © 2021, Research and Development Institute Suan Dusit University. (3) After reading, the students admired the valuable concept of ecological awareness and the philosophy of sufficiency economy and it can be assumed that both novels are good examples for the new generation, particularly in the modern era.Item The training curriculum development in the title of "Genius Youth: The tourist helper volunteer under Kalasin Municipality, Kalasin Province."(2014) Teeradet Chuenpraphanusorn; Sarawut Chombuathong; Kanchulee MoonlaphatThe purpose of this research are 1) to study and survey the need of participants for curriculum development 2) to develop the training curriculum and 3) to evaluate the training curriculum. The populations of this research are teachers, educational officers of Kalasin Municipality and the tourism officers by the accidental sampling method. The sampling groups are 92 teachers, 16 educational officers of Kalasin Municipality and 24 of tourist officers, totally 132 persons. The questionnaire is the main tool for data collecting in 0.93 of Reliability, and the data analysis by statistics in term of percentage mean and standard deviation. The result (s) reveal into 3 steps by the following explanations; Step 1, to study and survey the need of participants for curriculum development. 1. Mostly of the sampling group are 98 of females (74.24 %), the age are more than 40 years in 58 persons (43.94%), and there are 92 teachers (69.70).2. The necessary of the knowledge and training activities or training methods are in highly rank (means = 4.32 and standard deviation = 0.47), especially, the necessary of knowledge in tourism industry is in the first priority and the training activities are following. Step 2, the development of training curriculum. The new curriculum is consisted of the name of the curriculum, the objectives of curriculum, subjects, course description, training activities or training methods, materials, the assessment and evaluation processes and the criteria for grading and passed the training program.Step 3, the curriculum evaluation. 1. For the curriculum capacity, it was found that the new curriculum is available for Thai society, because the people in all community can participate in this project very well. Thailand has a various types of tourism destination, so the development of the tourist helper volunteer is the main point of project and can be making the impressive for the foreigner tourist. 2. Subjects in this curriculum are in suitable for training the youth, because the tourist helper volunteer can practice in real situation by graining some knowledge both inside and outside of the classroom context. Another reason, there are the new subjects such as the Persuasive Communication, Personal Development for Voluntary Jobs, Effective Team - Working Technique, Local Knowledge and Consciousness Enhancement in Hometown. 3. The training activities or training methods are obviously for training and it's also preparing in pre-test and posted-test for evaluate the participants before and after training.
